How to purchase your botkier


 
Buying from us is easy.  Our Online Shop is always available and we process and ship orders as quickly as possible in accordance with our Terms & Conditions.

To start, just make your selections in our Online Shop, and then follow the onscreen directions.  Your total shipping charges are automatically computed at checkout, prior to the completion of your order.  You'll receive instant order acknowledgement via e-mail.  Once the order has been processed and we do have your bag in stock, your handbag will be packed securely and shipped.  Please note that quantities are limited and subject to availability.

We charge your credit card only upon shipping.  Shipping and payment options vary, depending on whether you are in or outside the United States.  Please see below and our Terms & Conditions for more information.  If you have a question that isn’t answered here, please contact us.

How long will it take for your order to ship?


 
Please allow 3 business days for order’s processing, from there the majority of orders are shipped immediately if your bag is in stock and available.  Orders received on weekends will be processed on Monday.  Remember to allow for time in transit, as per your shipping choice.  Our business hours are from 10:00 am until 6:00 pm, Eastern Standard Time, Monday through Friday.

Please note this time is the actual UPS shipping time, not how long it may take for your order to be ready to ship.  Once your order is ready to ship, the shipping time reflects the transportation time it will take for your bag to get to you from us.
 

Sales Tax


 
Because we are located in New York, all orders shipped to addresses in New York State are subject to 8.375% Sales Tax. Otherwise, there is no tax.
 

I need to cancel / change my order


 
All orders placed through the website are firm, once you complete the checkout process. However, we'll do our best to accommodate you if you need to make changes. Please contact customer service within 24 hours from the date of your order.

International Orders


 
We are happy to take orders for international shipment. Just make your selections in our Online Shop, and then follow the onscreen directions. Total shipping charges are automatically computed during checkout, prior to the completion of your order. You'll receive instant order acknowledgement via e-mail. Then, to complete the process, there is an additional step.
 
For security, our credit card processor requires that your order must be confirmed.
Before your order can be finalized, you'll need to fax us the following at 212.343.2739 Attn: Customer Service:
 
 1) Photocopy your ID, front and back
 2) Download this form, print and sign it
 3) Signed order acknowledgement page
 
Since international shipments are subject to verification, paperwork and certain credit card security checks, please allow up to 5 -7 business days for your item to ship. All duties and taxes are the recipient's obligation. The recipient will be required to pay the duty or VAT upon delivery. Due to import duty valuation adjustments and currency valuations, we are unable to provide an estimate for duty or VAT. Shipping & Customs


 
International orders are sent via UPS. Most deliveries to Europe will arrive within 5-7 business days of package being shipped. Shipments to other countries may take longer.
 
All additional taxes, fees, tariffs, import fees, and surcharges levied by destination countries are the responsibility of the customer. botkier cannot determine the amount in advance, if any, that will be charged. Please check with customs house of your country to ascertain if any additional charges will be applied to your order. UPS assumes responsibility for such charges and bills the recipient accordingly. botkier does not receive any money from customs and import fees.
 
If you refuse to pay customs charges on an incoming shipment, it will be returned to botkier at our expense. We will then deduct that charge, as well as any additional customs charges, from the refund of the original purchase price.
 

Care of merchandise


 
botkier Handbags are made of beautiful Italian leather. Grain and slight differences of color are characteristics of the leather. The leather is natural, untreated (in most cases), and can spot and sometimes lose color. Particular care is recommended for Laminate colors (metallic) because contact with lacquer, perfume, and anything containing alcohol and derivatives can cause damage. As with all quality leather they should be treated with a weatherproof protection and care.
