Coachella palms

Festival season is upon us and Botkier Babes took to the desert to kick it off with a little Coachella madness. Despite an epic sand storm on Saturday night that lead to some unfortunate fashion choices, the weather was perfect - in that bright, hot, California desert kind of way. It was the ultimate setting for all things music, art, food, and fashion. While Coachella features the latest and greatest acts in music (Chromeo, anyone?) it’s really all about the fashion, honey. And fashion takes center stage at this two weekend seen-and-be-seen desert party. Fringe, boho, and flower child chic all made appearances on celebrity and civilian attendees alike. Even city-loving, black-clad Botkier Babes took a cue from the free spirited style-vibe that has come to define the Coachella scene. Our most festival friendly pieces - the Logan Hobo and the Legacy Crossbody - paired well will short shorts and breezy tops. Add in reflective sunglasses, the tiniest tan from some time at the pool, and laid back locks - the transformation was complete! Next year, there may even be the addition of a floral headpiece or exaggerated fringe accessories. You’ll just have to wait and see how transformative the Coachella really was. All in all, the music was dope and the people were happy. Isn’t that what Coachella is really all about? That and these moments that will never be forgotten: 1. Diddy ‘sneaking' in with his entourage, wearing a bandana over his face to fend off the sand storm. It was not a Diddy mirage. 2. The Logan Hobo taking a dip in the ultimate ‘bubble’ bath. 3. Florence Welch dancing and grooving to MGMT. 4. Two words: giant spaceman. 5. Palm trees bathed in sunshine by day and splashed in neon by night. Until next time Coachella…
