The storybook island has a long and vibrant history, from hosting decades of presidential vacations to serving as the filming location for much of Jaws. Known for its lobster rolls, lighthouses, and pristine beaches, Barack’s favorite hideaway is archetypical New England chic. Bike rides, saltwater taffy, highly-piled ice cream cones. It doesn’t get much more “American summer” than this.
