As Carrie Bradshaw once said, “every year the women of New York leave the past behind and look forward to the future…this is known as Fashion Week” - a very true statement indeed. Freezing cold snow aside, fashionistas (and fashionistos) come from all over the globe to take in the spectacle that is New York Fashion Week and each season just keeps getting better. While we have many favorites from the Fall 2015 collections, we picked a few highlights that made us swoon. First of all, we spotted a few of our favorite “it-girls” taking over the runway like the true professionals they are – ahem, Kendall Jenner and Gigi Hadid, we’re talking to you. Gigi was seen taking over the runway – er, football field – at Tommy Hilfiger in a bright red stadium poncho with football-lace boots. It may take awhile to get us hyped up for any sort of sporting event, but this definitely did the trick. Her and Kendall were also spotted rocking the runway at Michael Kors in gorgeous jade-colored furs that made us want to snatch them up to ride out the rest of this winter.

We were thrilled to see lots of winter whites on the runway , as this was a trend we hoped would stay awhile – we’ve always thought the “ no white after labor day” thing was a bit cliché. Victoria Beckham presented the trend with a few standout looks, including a chunky turtleneck sweater paired with a sleek skirt. It’s also impossible to not mention the fact that the entire (GORGEOUS!!) Beckham brigade was in attendance. Cushnie et Ochs also presented some gorgeous all-white ensembles in silhouettes that were fit to flatter.
As always, Fashion Week didn’t fail to impress with the bevy of beautiful designs and A-List people watching. September can’t come soon enough….
