Reimagining the 60’s scarf trend
All Wrapped Up

Twiggy, Jane Birkin, Andy Warhol – as one of the most influential era’s, the 60’s not only introduced us to some of the most iconic names in fashion, but opened the door to trendsetting styles that have been re-imagined year after year.

Ever since the opening of the Warhol exhibit at the Whitney, we felt feeling nostalgic for one of our personal fashion faves – the scarf. But not your typical headscarf found holding hair back on the beaches of Italy (although we love those too). For spring 2019, we took a trip down memory lane with scarf-adorned handbags and shoes worthy of Twiggy herself.

Our top-selling Cobble Hill and Lennox crossbody bags were given an update this season – both styles are complimented with red floral scarves that act as whip stitching on the handles and front flaps of the bag. The bold poppy shade of red looks fab when paired with a neutral sweater/skirt combo.

And then there’s our latest obsession in the shoe department. Meet Hampton Bow Mule, a gorgeous mule accented with a round heel and floral scarf bow for the perfect ladylike-meets-streetstyle touch. Try out the natural floral for a colorful pop, or get down with your retro roots in the black dot pattern. Both pair well with a chambray skirt for spring, summer, and beyond.

The Zahara Bow Slide is our flat version, in case you’re in the mood to casually stroll through Central Park or head to the Hampton’s for a beach weekend. Take these out for a spin with wide legged denim for the perfect amount of flair.
