Of all the clotheshorses we know, only Molly Dickson would dream up the look she rocked at our It-Girl lunch with W Magazine. She stomped into the impossibly chic scene in our own Moto Boots and Lennox Crossbody, both in tough black. Paired with what? A frilly white straight-off-the-runway Chanel mini dress, loaded with ruffles and bows. A study in contrast. A fashion masterpiece.
Molly is a master at creating a bit of tension, and that is what we love about her. The rising celebrity stylist is our newest style ambassador, and we couldn’t have picked a more perfect specimen. Molly is our kind of it-girl. She doesn’t just sit around at parties looking chic. This girl werks. It’s just that her job happens to be making people look chic.
The really impressive thing about Molly is that she’s only been in business for herself since last year, and she’s already crushing the game in Hollywood. Her clients include “13 Reasons Why” star Katherine Langford and Sadie Sink from “Stranger Things,” both fans of the disrupted feminine look that she herself displayed at the W lunch. Though her clientele skews young, she doesn’t believe in dressing them like sweet, innocent things. There’s always a balance, that one clever accessory that throws off the whole look, yet somehow elevates it. Molly just makes it work.
She’s now the face of Botkier, acting style ambassador, and has styled our last two campaigns. She brings two forces together on shoots—NYC street style edge and Hollywood glam, a combo well played in our Fall ‘18 campaign. And no one makes the two mesh like Molly. It’s all flimsy slips and tough boots, feather stoles and structured bags. She does the most with the mixing. She’s one of us.
